Pandemic Legacy Season 1 – Blue

Pandemic Legacy: Season 1 (Blue Edition) is a standalone, cooperative campaign game for 2 to 4 players where your decisions in one game permanently affect all future sessions. Set over a fictional year, the story evolves month-by-month as you and your team of specialists work to save humanity from four deadly diseases.

The “Blue” vs. “Red” Edition
The only differences between the Blue Edition and the Red Edition are the box cover art and the instruction booklet cover. The game’s internal components, rules, and story campaign are identical in both versions. This allows two separate groups to play their own unique campaigns simultaneously without mixing up their boxes.

Core Gameplay & Mechanics
Legacy System: Unlike the original Pandemic, this game is a “legacy” experience where you permanently alter components. You will write on cards, place permanent stickers on the board, and even rip up cards as instructed by the story.
Persistent Consequences: Characters can gain new skills or suffer permanent “scars” (detrimental effects). If a character takes too much damage, they are “lost” and removed from the game forever.
The Campaign: The story unfolds over 12 months (roughly 12–24 play sessions, depending on wins and losses). Each month, you have two chances to succeed at that month’s objectives before moving to the next.
Evolving World: As outbreaks occur, cities become “panicked,” making them more expensive or difficult to travel to in future games.
