Skull

Skull (also known as Skull & Roses) is a fast-paced, high-stakes bluffing card game where the goal is to outwit your opponents by either winning two bids or being the last player standing.

The gameplay revolves around three core actions: Place, Bid, and Bluff.

Core Gameplay Mechanics
Place: Every player starts with four discs—three “Roses” and one “Skull”. Each round begins with everyone placing one disc face down. On your turn, you can continue to place more discs face down on your stack.
Bid: Instead of placing a disc, you can initiate a challenge by announcing how many roses you think you can flip over without hitting a skull. Other players can then raise your bid or pass until only one highest bidder (Challenger) remains.
Bluff: This is where the strategy lies. You might place a skull in your own stack and then bid aggressively to lure others into a trap, hoping they overbid and flip your skull.

The Challenge & Consequences
Flipping Discs: The Challenger must first flip all the discs in their own stack before moving to other players’ stacks.
Success: If they reveal only roses equal to their bid, they win a point (by flipping their score mat over). Two points wins the entire game.
Failure: If they hit a skull—theirs or anyone else’s—they immediately lose the challenge and one of their discs is permanently removed from the game. If a player loses all four discs, they are eliminated.
