Posthuman Saga

Posthuman Saga is a competitive tactical survival adventure board game set in a post-apocalyptic world where nature has reclaimed the planet and mutated offspring of humanity seek to eradicate the remaining survivors. Players take on the role of a seasoned member of the Fortress’ militia, tasked with venturing beyond the safety of the last human bastion into the uncharted “Wilds” to complete vital missions and earn their place within the Fortress.

Gameplay Overview
The game can be played solo, in a competitive mode (2–4 players), or as a team versus experience (2 teams of 2). It blends “Euro” style mechanics like resource management and bidding with a strong narrative focus.

Exploration & Mapping: Players navigate a modular tile-based map, revealing new terrain such as cities, forests, and mountains as they travel.
Tactical Survival: You must forage for food, ammunition, and weapons to survive. Each round requires players to eat food or suffer fatigue, which can drain health and morale.
Combat & Mutation: Encounters with human and mutant enemies are fast, card-based affairs. Wounds received in battle against mutants can lead to permanent mutations, which may grant strange advantages but can ultimately spiral out of control.
Narrative Encounters: The game features over 100 story scenes found in a dedicated storybook. These scenes force players to make difficult choices with lasting consequences that shape their character’s journey.
The Race: While survival is key, the game is ultimately a race to complete specific mission objectives and defeat a Mutant Boss to earn the most reputation (Victory Points) before the 16th round concludes.
