Concept Kids Animals

Concept Kids: Animals is a cooperative deduction game by Repos Production designed for children aged 4 and up. It is a simplified version of the popular party game Concept, specifically adapted for younger players who may not yet know how to read.

In this game, players work together to guess as many animals as possible to achieve the highest collective score.
Players: 2 to 12.
Play Time: Approximately 20 minutes.
Educational Focus: Introduces children to the animal kingdom through visual cues, fostering cognitive skills, communication, and teamwork.

The game replaces verbal communication with icons on a board to describe animals.
Setup: One player (usually an adult or a child taking turns) draws a card showing an animal without looking at it and places it in the holder for the other players to see.
Giving Clues: The other players use orange rings to highlight specific icons on the game board that represent the animal’s features. These icons include:
Appearance: Colours, patterns (e.g., stripes or spots), and physical traits like number of legs or size.
Habitat: Where the animal lives (e.g., jungle, ocean, or farm).
Behaviour: What it eats (herbivore or carnivore), how it moves (flying, swimming, or running), and its temperament.
Guessing: The player with the hidden card attempts to guess the animal based on these visual markers. They can guess as many times as they want.
Winning: The game typically lasts for 12 rounds (12 cards). After the deck is exhausted, the team tallies their total correct guesses to see how well they performed as a group.
