Unlock Heroic Adventures

Unlock! Heroic Adventures is the fifth box in the Unlock! series of cooperative card-based escape room games. It features three unique scenarios that players must solve within a 60-to-90-minute time limit using a deck of cards and a free companion app.

Included Scenarios
The box contains three distinct adventures with varying themes and difficulty levels:
Insert Coin (Level 1): A virtual, 8-bit style video game adventure. Players must clear multiple levels and defeat a “big boss” to avoid a “Game Over”.
Sherlock Holmes: The Scarlet Thread of Murder (Level 2): A Victorian detective mystery where players assist Sherlock Holmes in solving a bizarre murder case. It plays more like an investigation than a traditional escape room.
In Pursuit of the White Rabbit (Level 3): An Alice in Wonderland-themed adventure. Players encounter strange characters and must help Alice escape Wonderland before time runs out. It is considered the most difficult scenario in the box.

Core Gameplay Mechanics
The game uses a simple card-driven system augmented by a digital app:
Card Interaction: Players search scenes for hidden numbers, combine blue and red items (e.g., a key and a door) by adding their card numbers, and solve logical puzzles.
Companion App: The Unlock! App tracks the timer, provides hints, verifies codes for locks, and manages “machines”—interactive digital puzzles that require physical cards to solve.
Non-Destructive: Unlike some other escape room games, components are not destroyed, making the game transferable to others after a single playthrough.
