Dobble Classic

Dobble Classic is a high-speed, pattern-recognition card game designed for players aged 6 and up. It is widely popular for its simple mechanics where players race to find the single matching symbol between any two cards. Because the game relies on visual perception and reflexes rather than prior knowledge, it offers no inherent advantage to adults, making it an ideal choice for family play.

The “One Match” Rule: The deck consists of 55 circular cards, each featuring 8 different symbols. Every card is mathematically designed to have exactly one matching symbol in common with any other card in the deck.
Visual Challenge: While the matching symbols are identical in shape and colour, they often vary in size and orientation, making them surprisingly difficult to spot under pressure.
Simultaneous Action: All players act at the same time, shouting out the name of the matching symbol as soon as they see it.

The classic edition includes rules for five different fast-paced mini-games:
The Towering Inferno: Players race to collect the most cards from a central stack by matching them to their own.
The Well: The reverse of the Inferno; players try to empty their personal pile by matching cards to a central one.
The Hot Potato: Players try to pass their card to an opponent by finding a match between their cards.
Gotta Catch Them All!: Players race to collect cards placed around a central reference card.
The Poisoned Gift: Players “gift” cards from the central pile to opponents by finding matches on the opponent’s card.
