Zombicide: Black Plague

Zombicide: Black Plague is a standalone, fully cooperative board game for 1 to 6 players that reimagines the classic zombie-killing action in a fantastical medieval setting. In this version, players take control of a band of survivors—including knights, magicians, dwarves, and elves—to battle hordes of zombies controlled by the game’s internal mechanics.

Core Gameplay & Mechanics
Mission-Based Campaign: The game includes 10 distinct missions played on modular maps created from double-sided game tiles.
Experience & Progression: Survivors gain experience and level up as they kill zombies, unlocking new skills; however, as characters become more powerful, the game spawns more zombies to match their level.
Revamped Equipment: Instead of guns, players use medieval weaponry like swords, crossbows, and magic spells. New armor rules allow players to equip shields or chainmail to block zombie attacks.
Dragon Bile: This special item can be used to create pools of “Dragon Fire,” one of the few ways to destroy the near-invulnerable Abomination.

New Threats
Necromancers: These “dark masters” trigger additional zombie spawns and will attempt to escape the board; if they succeed, they leave behind permanent spawn points, making the game significantly harder.
The Abomination: A massive, terrifying foe that ignores armor and requires special tactics or powerful artifacts to defeat.

Plastic Dashboards: Quality molded plastic boards help players manage their character’s inventory, experience, and health using sliding arrows and plastic pegs.
Secret Vaults: Map tiles include trapdoors leading to underground vaults which contain powerful artifacts and provide shortcuts across the citadel.
